We approach wedding photography with a predominantly photojournalistic style, unobtrusively capturing candid and authentic moments as they naturally unfold. While most of the coverage is candid, he strongly believes in dedicating approximately an hour on your wedding day for relaxed, artistically posed portraits of the bride and groom alone. Ronald also places great emphasis on documenting all intricate details—from attire to décor—to fully capture the essence of your day.
Absolutely, recognizing the importance of family portraits and ensures these significant images are captured efficiently. Prior to your wedding, you will receive a detailed questionnaire outlining recommended family groupings. You're encouraged to add custom groupings, though Ronald recommends keeping the total number manageable (typically around 10–15 groups) to allow ample time for documentary-style photography throughout the event.
Aside from essential family portraits, we respectfully request not working from extensive shot lists. While noting special guests or significant moments is helpful, detailed lists or frequent staged requests can diminish the authentic, documentary coverage Ronald is known for. Rest assured, key moments typically requested are naturally included within Ronald’s coverage.
Ron serves as the sole photographer capturing your wedding day. However, he always brings an assistant who assists with equipment, lighting setups, and organizing group photos, allowing Ronald to concentrate fully on photography.
I'm based in Houston, Texas, and regularly travels nationally and internationally for weddings. I am very experienced in handling travel logistics and will happily discuss travel arrangements specific to your wedding location. Travel expenses—such as airfare, accommodations, and rental car—are directly billed at actual cost.
Yes. Every delivered image undergoes careful, individual editing to ensure consistent, high-quality results. Ronald and his editing team occasionally select standout images for additional artistic enhancement.
Black-and-white images are intentionally created as such and delivered exclusively in that format. If you prefer fewer black-and-white images overall, please indicate this preference prior to your wedding day.
Online galleries are typically ready within six weeks following your wedding. Printed proofs and digital files are delivered within approximately nine weeks of your wedding date.
Image quantity varies based on wedding duration, guest count, and planned events. We guarantee a minimum of 500 professionally edited images, though it frequently exceeds this number.
You receive edited high-resolution digital images (equivalent to traditional negatives), accompanied by a personal print release. Raw or unedited images are not provided, as Ronald carefully curates the delivered photos to reflect the highest standards.
Unselected images, including duplicates or technical misfires, are not archived or made available. We ensure that all meaningful, quality images captured during your event are included in your delivered gallery.
We allow up to one year for you to select images for your album. Initial album designs are delivered within four weeks after selections are made, with up to three rounds of edits included. Upon final approval, you will select your album’s cover style, materials, and details before final printing. Album production typically requires around twelve weeks after approval.
Your online gallery is a secure, private platform accessible via password, allowing convenient viewing, print ordering, and album selections by you and your guests.
Yes. We maintain full professional liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance upon request, given at least two months' notice prior to your wedding date.

No. Due to high demand, wedding dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, secured exclusively with a signed contract and retainer.
A retainer of approximately $1,000 is required at booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding date. Unfortunately, payments cannot extend beyond the wedding date
Retainers and payments are non-refundable, as they reserve your date exclusively, preventing us from accepting other bookings on that date.
In the extremely rare event that we cannot personally attend your wedding due to illness or emergency, a professional associate photographer or trusted colleague will be provided to ensure full, uninterrupted coverage.
Most couples secure their services 6–12 months prior to their wedding, though availability varies greatly. Early booking is highly recommended to ensure your date.
Yes. Overtime coverage is available upon request during the event, billed at an hourly rate and invoiced after the wedding.

Providing a meal is greatly appreciated and allows me to remain energized and attentive throughout your event. A vendor meal option is typically sufficient, ideally served when you and your guests are dining.
Guests are welcome to take photos, provided they remain respectful and unobtrusive. We do request that guests refrain from taking photos simultaneously during formal portraits and bride-and-groom sessions to ensure we capture your best moments without distractions.
